Deeks enjoyed a quieter year in 2024, stepping back from the show circuit to become Kristy’s trusted practice partner at the Ranch. Their daily time together has solidified a special bond, showcasing his value beyond the show pen.
Before settling into his current role, this stunning gelding spent several years competing successfully with Ryan Cottingim Show Horses, excelling in Trail, Western Pleasure, and Performance Halter. Among his many achievements, Deeks placed 5th in the Pleasure Versatility Challenge at the 2021 AQHA World Show under the guidance of Professional Horsewoman Jamie Hartman, earning accolades for his versatility and skill.
With over $5,000 in lifetime earnings from limited showing, Deeks continues to exemplify the heart and talent of a champion while bringing joy and practice opportunities to Kristy every day.
