The championship was the culmination of an outstanding season and a partnership built on Mable’s athletic ability, consistency and trainability. A WORLD CHAMPION
The photographs from that night tell a story all their own.

From the World Champion roses to the coveted AQHA gold trophy, Mable’s 2024 World Championship represents one of the proudest moments in the history of Horse Creek Ranch Quarter Horses.

More than the title itself, the championship reflects the countless hours of preparation and the exceptional care, training and horsemanship behind Mable’s success.

CONTINUING HER CAREER
Mable’s story did not end with her World Championship.

She has continued her Western Riding career, successfully making the transition from Junior into Senior competition while also demonstrating her ability to perform for more than one rider.

With limited showing in Novice Amateur Western Riding, Mable and Hailey Thomas Brown quickly developed a successful partnership, earning impressive scores—including a 221—and a 6th-place finish at the 2026 NSBA World Show.

Mable’s continued success speaks to the qualities that have defined her throughout her career—athletic ability, consistency, trainability and a willing disposition.

Whether carrying a professional or an amateur rider, she continues to demonstrate the talent and heart of a champion.

A CHAMPION’S LEGACY CONTINUES

Mable’s story extends beyond the show pen.

In 2025, she welcomed Liv A Little “Olivia”, a bay filly sired by the late Its A Southern Thing “Moonpie.”

The breeding carries a special connection to Western Riding history. Jamie Hartman showed Moonpie in the memorable 2015 AQHA World Show Junior Western Riding Finals, where he tied for first place and then tied again following a runoff before ultimately finishing Reserve World Champion by just half a point on the raw score.

Nearly a decade later, Jamie returned to the AQHA World Show aboard Mable and captured the 2024 Level 3 Junior Western Riding World Championship.

The breeding of Mable to Moonpie brought those two remarkable stories together.

The result is Olivia.

Now growing up and beginning her early education, Olivia has been introduced to the saddle and continues to show the presence, movement and willing disposition that made us excited about this cross from the beginning.

Mable’s legacy is no longer something we are waiting for. It’s already here.
